How Health Care Can Reduce Domestic Violence

One in four women in the United States will report intimate partner violence, otherwise known as domestic violence. As San Francisco’s District Attorney, I worked to create highly detailed, comprehensive training programs for all domestic violence attorneys, victim advocates, and investigators. This study is just one more reason why I will fight for the more than 20 million Americans who have gained health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
